About the Council

The opportunities in the Hospitality sector in India, especially in Eastern India are growing. This sector has emerged as an instrument of employment generation and opens a new scope of investment.

The Hospitality & Tourism Council at MCCI addresses issues and challenges in the hospitality sector and facilitates strengthening of the Hospitality and Tourism sector. The main objective is to work on issues pertaining to the Industry with the Union Ministry, State Government and the Stakeholders and regularly holds brainstorming Sessions with the stakeholders, to bring out the key concerns.

The Council consists of the leaders from hotels & resorts, travel companies, airlines and representatives from public sectors.  The Council conducts Conclaves, Forums, Sessions, Workshops with Central and State Government as well as the big private players of the Hospitality and Tourism sector.
