Mining sector is strategically important for the nation’s growth. Mining sector is vying for investments in R&D to develop indigenous technologies for mineral value addition and policy reforms in PLI schemes and incentives. Mining industry has the potential to contribute 6-7% to National GDP. For a sustained high growth trajectory, the Central Government should create a conducive fiscal regime and enabling policy framework for promoting exploration.
MCCI Council on Mining has stressed for an integrated road map for mining, production and usage of natural resources. The Council organizes Conclaves, Events, Seminars and Workshops with the experts on recent initiatives and developments for the members.
