About the Council
The Plastics & Chemicals Industry has contributed significantly to the growth of Indian economy. The key growth drivers are agriculture and food packaging, in addition to other sectors such as Infrastructure, automobiles etc. MCCI’s contribution to the plastics and chemicals industry has made a significant difference to the technologies & innovations the industry enjoys today.
The Council at MCCI has involved some of the top individuals from the plastics and chemicals industry, who volunteer their time, resources and efforts towards furthering the cause of the Industry.
The objective of the Council is to promote the scientific and engineering knowledge relating to plastics. The Council organizes Conclaves, Workshops and Knowledge Series where Government Bodies & Regulators and Industry Players come together to deliberate on issues and technologies.
